SUMMARY: A twelve-year old boy saw his entire family slain, and he miraculously escaped with his uncle from a repressive island nation in a flimsy raft across the vast Caribbean Sea. During the long treacherous journey, the boy’s mind became an incubator for revenge against those that murdered his family. He spent his youth and brilliant scientific career resolving to avenge the people he loved most. The government of Cuba changed from repressive to tragic in during long absence. When he was prepared, he returned to Cuba with a nightmarish biological weapon that created a "red terror." The weapon destroyed the villainous executioners of his family, including the military dictator and much of the island.

The plan was perfect except for an unexpected event that caused the weapon to reach Latin America and Mexico. Famine spread among the populations of these countries and created an army of starving millions that threatened the borders of the United States.

The story begins with murders, develops into a meticulous plan of revenge, and as spontaneously and raging as a forest fire, unleashes an uncontrollable chain of events that crescendo into catastrophe, and as quickly, terminates with a surprise ending.
